I first learned of this inspriring young woman’s work, recently, and can only say that I will be following her to see what her talents lead to in the future. It was so pleasing to learn that she has (deservedly) received orders from around the globe.

I just stumbled across this most blessed resource, today and have learned so much, already.

This would appear to be my weekend for learning about the work of talented, beautiful African designers; yesterday, I learned, elsewhere, of the incredible work of Sierra Leonean, Adama Kai, who founded Aschobi Designs in Freetown, and today, fate has introduced me to the wonderful Folake and her fashion and couture labels.

Here’s wishing Folake (and, Adama) much continued success. Reading information like this, Kamilla, makes me feel so good! Thank you.

This was a fantastically informative, positive and exciting piece; it would be good to see wider recognition (elsewhere) of the many developments that are taking place in Africa because of the innovations, and insightfulness of Africans.
